La Sérénité is a lovely old converted farmhouse set in beautiful. quiet countryside in South West France. It sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms and offers an idyllic and secluded holiday retreat without being totally isolated.
This luxury holiday home gives the feeling of being miles away from anywhere, and yet the nearest largest supermarket and row of shops is only a couple of kilometres away - on the outskirts of La Fouillade. The calls of the buzzards circling on the thermals coming up from the gorges of the Aveyron River nearby compete with the tinkling cowbells in the distant pastures as the only sounds around.
It is located not far from ‘Najac’ which the The Daily Telegraph describes as one of the 20 most beautiful villages in France.

The sweeping drive leads you to impressive stone front of the converted farmhouse. Enjoy a meal on the patio or a relaxing sundowner on the elevated sun deck or on the patio looking down over the valley and across to the pool area.
A welcoming open plan kitchen and dining area, large lounge with log burner and four lovely bedrooms are set over three floors. La Sérénité is in a wonderful secluded and quiet location, ideal to escape away from it all.
The lovely 4 bedroom old farmhouse sits proudly on the side of a quiet valley with a stream running below it. It is close to the lovely old medieval bastide village of Najac which is one of the 140 or so Plus Beaux Villages de France (most beautiful villages of France).

Idyllic & Secluded with Spectacular countryside
The outside garden terrace framed by wisteria is a lovely way to enjoy 'al fresco' dining. The larger ash trees are underlit at night bringing the garden to life after dark. and give additional shade to the pool area during the day.
The large elevated outside decking area provides wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the views over the gardens across to the Aveyron river gorges. The landscaped gardens and pool area provide idyllic seclusion and tranquillity.

Great Places to See & Visit
Najac: Just 6km from La Sérénité, is the old bastide village of Najac, This pretty little village is perched on a long rocky ridge above the Aveyron River. It has one main street which leads up to the impressive Chateau de Najac.
Villefranche-de-Rouergue: A short drive away will take you to this buzzing little bastide town. The myriad of narrow streets which will lead you towards the old market square, the heart of the town. Market day is Thursday but you can also enjoy the little cafés, restaurants & traditional shops.
